Governing law for these Terms is Swiss law, and disputes are subject to the courts of Switzerland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply where you live.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be old enough under applicable law to enter into these Terms and to use online services. If you use GarIQ on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are allowed to do so.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these Terms are violated, the account is compromised, or continued use risks the service or other users.

GarIQ is a vehicle logbook product. It helps you record vehicle-related events, costs, documents, and history, and to ask questions about data you have stored.

GarIQ is not professional, legal, tax, accounting, mechanical, or safety advice. AI answers and drafts are informational suggestions based on content you provide and data in your account. Always use your own judgment and consult qualified professionals when decisions matter for safety, money, or compliance.

You retain ownership of the content you submit (vehicle data, events, photos, documents, and messages). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content only as needed to operate GarIQ for you and for members of garages you share.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you log and for having a lawful basis to upload material that concerns other people or third-party documents. Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or material you are not allowed to share.

AI features may propose event drafts, classifications, or answers from text, images, PDFs, or context you provide.

AI output is a proposal. Nothing is saved as a logbook event without your explicit confirmation. There is no AI autosave of events.

GarIQ does not automatically merge or correct duplicate entries. If you create duplicates, you manage cleanup yourself.

Voice dictation uses your device or operating-system speech services when you enable it.

Paid plans, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled only through the Apple App Store or Google Play, together with our entitlement provider RevenueCat. Purchase and manage subscriptions in your store account.

gariq.app takes no payment and does not sell subscriptions on the website. We cannot issue App Store or Play refunds; request those through Apple or Google.

Plan features shown in the app may change over time. This document does not restate numeric plan limits — those live in the app and on the marketing plans section.

Use GarIQ only for lawful personal or small-team vehicle logging as the product intends. You must not:

- abuse AI or other quotas in a way that degrades the service for others; - scrape, bulk-export, or automate access beyond normal app use without our written permission; - attempt to bypass security, reverse-engineer non-public interfaces, or disrupt the service; - upload third-party personal data without a basis to do so; - use GarIQ to build a competing dataset or service by systematically extracting content.

On plans that include sharing, garage invites let other GarIQ users access vehicles and history according to in-app roles. You are responsible for whom you invite and for the data they can see.

Vehicle cession transfers an allowlisted subset of a vehicle’s history to another user as described in the app. Where the app presents a step as final, treat it as irreversible for practical purposes — review carefully before confirming.

We aim for reliable availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change, be limited, or be withdrawn as the product evolves.

You may stop using GarIQ and delete your account in the app. We may update these Terms; the Last updated date on this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law. Material changes may be communicated in an appropriate way.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GarIQ and the provider are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service or from reliance on AI suggestions.

Our aggregate liability for claims relating to GarIQ is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid for GarIQ subscriptions in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty Swiss francs (CHF 50), except where mandatory law prohibits such a limit (including for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct where such rules apply).

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer law.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Courts in Switzerland have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory protections for consumers in their country of residence.
